Ingredients: corn starch 85%, water, stabiliser: E452. This product contains genetically modified corn.
Recipe for stew with cornstarch noodles (Guisado):
1. Use cold water to wash the cornstarch noodles and put them in a bowl ( do not soak). Do not wash with hot water as the product has been cooked. Wait for 3-5 minutes (or longer) until the cornstarch noodles soften and are ready to be used.
2. Heat 1 spoon of oil in a wok and add green onion, shrimp, pork and mixed vegetables according to taste. Add salt and soy sauce and fry till done. Add approx. 1.5 cup of water for 1 package to obtain a thick stew.
3. When the stew is ready, add the softened cornstarch noodles and stir-fry until the water is absorbed. Add a spoon oil to enhance the taste.
4. If you want to serve as a soup, increase the amount of water used.
