Miso is a fermented made from soybeans. Due to the long fermentation process, miso has a complex flavor, also known as umami, which is loved in Japanese cuisine. This organic variant is somewhat milder in taste and lighter in sodium and therefore fits in everywhere. Use miso especially outside the Japanese kitchen in, for example, dressings, chicken broth or mayonaise.
