Tom Yum soup recipe
Ingredients for 4 persons:
- 1 packet of herb paste for Tom Yum soup
- 880 ml water or chicken stock (unsalted)
- 250 g shrimp (peeled or cleaned), squid, mussels or diced fish fillet
- 60 gr Shiitake mushrooms or button mushrooms, sliced
- fresh coriander and chili peppers as garnish
- lime or lemon juice and soy sauce or fish sauce, add to taste
Preparation:
- Bring the water or chicken stock to a boil. Add the herb paste and stir well.
- Add the shrimp and mushrooms and continue cooking.
- Just before serving, season with lime or lemon juice and soy sauce or fish sauce. Garnish with coriander and chillies and serve hot.
