Preparation instructions for the pan: Rinse the rice thoroughly and bring it to the boil with about 1.25 times the amount of water and the desired amount of salt. Let it simmer for about 20 minutes with the lid closed. Stir if necessary. Then remove the pan from the heat and let the rice rest for about 10 minutes. The amount of water can be adjusted to the desired consistency.
