Flower Brand Emping, 250g

Emping is a kind of chips, made from Melindjo nuts. It is eaten in Indonesia with meals or as a snack. Flowerbrand unbaked emping is of the best original quality from Indonesia, made from the melindjo nut. The melindjo nut comes from the melindjoe tree from Southeast Asia. Rope is made from the bark and emping is made from the nuts that look like small olives. You can easily bake this raw emping at home.

Preparation method:
Heat a generous amount of oil in a pan and wait for it to come up to temperature. Put a small handful of raw emping in a pan of fairly hot oil (190°C) and wait until the emping has expanded completely. Then scoop it out of the plan and place it on a piece of absorbent kitchen paper. Enjoy!
