Ingredients: Tomato puree (23%), soya oil , onions, salt, sugar, ground coriander, red chillies, garlic, distilled vinegar, ginger, herbs and spices, cayenne pepper, acidity regulator (E330). No added MSG, preservatives or artificial colours.

Recipe for Indonesian chicken with butter

Ingredients for 4 persons:

• 1 packet of spice paste for Indonesian chicken with butter
• 3 tbsp melted butter
• 1 large onion, finely chopped
• ½ cup (110 ml) tomato puree or canned diced tomatoes
• ½ cup (110 ml) water
• ½ cup (110 ml) cream or yogurt (reserve 1 tbsp for garnish)
• 450 g boneless roasted meat, tandoori or fresh chicken meat cut into pieces
• fresh coriander as garnish (optional)

Preparation:

1. Heat the butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and fry for 3 minutes.
2. Add the tomato puree, water, cream and herb paste and stir.
3. Add the meat and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes. Stir in the remaining cream or yoghurt and serve hot.
